Tornado Relief Information
Thank you for the outpouring of resources since the April 27 tornado.
Due to the support and generosity of our friends, neighbors, and
members, Calvary has furnished over 85 new homes for tornado victims.
However, our ministry to these families is just beginning! We are in
the process of meeting with individuals and community agencies to
learn how best to serve now that most immediate needs have been met.

Tornado Relief Q&A
How did Calvary know who to help?
First, Calvary made it a priority to serve our own members who were
affected by the Tornado. However, we knew our scope had to be much
broader. Previous to the tornado, Calvary had a relationship with the
Tuscaloosa Housing Authority in Rosedale Courts, one of the most
affected communities. In the days after the tornado, we received names
and new addresses from the Housing Authority of individuals whose
homes were destroyed.
Can I Still Give?
Though our online Pay-Pal account is no longer active, you can mail a
check designated for "Tornado Relief Fund" to us at 1121 Paul W.
Bryant Dr., Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.
Where Can I Donate Items?
Calvary has partnered with Temporary Emergency Services: 1705 15th
Street, Tuscaloosa, AL, 35401 (205-758-5535). Please take and mail all
items to TES.
Can I Bring a Work Crew in to Serve with Calvary?
At this point, Calvary is not set-up to partner with work crews. We
suggest you contact the Tuscaloosa Baptist Association at (205)
339-2273. They are connecting work crews with local needs. Remember,
you can also check in with the city's volunteer center. See Below.
