The Preschool Ministry here at Calvary is a partner with parents in guiding preschoolers toward an understanding of God, Jesus, the Bible, church, self, others, family, and God's creation. As preschoolers come to church for Sunday School, Wednesday Night Programming (Choir and Missions), or Weekday Education, they will have teachers who understand them and how they learn.
Sunday School is the foundation that introduces preschoolers to God and begins the process toward spiritual transformation. All preschool programs offered here at Calvary provide opportunities for teachers to share their faith with parents of preschoolers, minister to preschoolers and their families, offer times of fellowship, and lead preschoolers to develop an understanding of worship through Bible stories, songs, play, crafts, Bible thoughts, and prayers.

Preschool Sunday School
Preschool Sunday School teaches preschoolers more about God and cultivates a loving, secure, happy relationship with each child and their family. We use
Lifeway curriculum (Southern Baptist) Toddlers thru Pre-Kindergarten. Our teachers use blocks, books,
home living materials, nature materials, music, pictures, puzzles, art materials, and the Bible each Sunday. While participating in these activities, Sunday School teachers are given the opportunity to teach songs and Bible thoughts as they develop a better relationship with each child.
Extended Session
Extended Session is an extension of the Bible teaching activities for preschoolers (Birth thru 3 years old) whose parents attend the worship services (8:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.). Volunteers care for preschoolers during the worship services 6-8 times a year using lessons and activities which are provided. Parents of preschoolers are expected to help, as well as newlyweds, college students, single adults, adults
who no longer have children in the preschool area,
senior adults and grandparents. To volunteer, please

Cradle Roll
This is a new ministry we are starting here at
Calvary this fall. This ministry begins before the
birth of the baby. Cradle Roll ministers to
expectant parents who are members of the church as
well as expectant parents who are not members of the
church. Cradle Roll contacts are made at least once
a month. Visitor-Teachers are assigned 2-3 families
for regular visitation; Cradle Roll concentrates its
ministry on families whose children are under 1 year
of age. Women volunteers are needed to begin this
ministry....women
volunteers need a heart to minister to others, lips
that speak words of encouragement, eyes that desire
to see non-Christians accept Jesus as their Savior
and Lord, ears that listen to the needs of families,
and feet that are swift to visit. For more
