SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE TIMES


We worship at 8:15, 9:45, and 11:15 am. 

Additionally, we have small groups for all ages at 9:45 and 11:15 am. 


KIDS ACTIVITIES

Knowing where to take your kids is one of the most difficult things about visiting any church for the first time:

  • Treetop Ministries (birth through kindergarten): Check in on the lowest level of the main building. 

  • The Faith Factory (first through sixth grade): Check in on the 3rd floor of the main building.


PARKING and Map


Calvary offers four locations to park:


  • West Lot: West of the Sanctuary. Enter lot from12th Avenue. Provides easy access to both the Sanctuary and Welcome Center. 

  • North Lot: Across Paul W. Bryant from the Sanctuary. Enter lot from Bryant. Provides easy access to both the Sanctuary. 

  • South Lot: Behind the Family Life Center (Gym). Enter lot from 12th Street or 12th Avenue.  

  • Cemetery Parking: Park in the cemetery adjacent to Calvary. You will see a tent guiding you to the closest entrance.

At 9:45 and 11:15 am, Calvary offers small groups for all ages and life stages. Check out the details here

 

WORSHIP STYLES

Though Pastor Tim Lovett delivers the same biblically-based sermon in each service, the worship styles do vary 

  •  8:15 (Traditional Service): Led by the Minister of Worship and robed choir.  Accompanied by piano and organ. Includes the great hymns of our faith from the 2008 Baptist Hymnal, prayers, Scripture readings and special music from a variety of genres. Periodic observation of Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. More formal.

  •  9:45 (Contemporary Service):  Led by the Associate College Minister and Band. Accompanied by acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and keyboard. Special lighting to enhance the worship experience. Includes the great, new worship songs with lyrics on the screen. Periodic observation of Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. More informal and relaxed.

  • 11:15 (Blended Service): Led by the Minister of Worship, Choir and Praise Team.  Accompanied by either orchestra or by rhythm section (guitars and drums). Includes the great, new worship songs as well as some of the great hymns of our faith.  Lyrics of the worship songs and hymns are on the screen Periodic observation of Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
