Little Friends School

Little Friends School is a year-round full-day child development program for children six weeks to six years old in a Christian environment.  Little Friends School is a nondiscriminatory ministry of Calvary Baptist Church.  The staff at Little Friends aspire to provide an environment where they can teach developmentally appropriate, Biblically sound curriculum that allows preschoolers to grow physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

Little Friends has been serving the Tuscaloosa community for more than 40 years.  Little Friends prides itself in the stability of its lead-teacher staff.  The average tenure for LFS lead teachers is over nine years, ranging from two to twenty years of service at Little Friends.   We also pride ourselves in equipping future early childhood educators by providing college students the opportunity to expand their textbook knowledge with hands on experience in the classroom.  Mixing the longevity of our lead teachers with the cutting-edge creativity of young adults offers the children at Little Friends a rich educational environment.
